MARK VIGIL: I received my undergraduate degree in composition from Cornish Institute of the Allied Arts in Seattle Washington and my Master's degree in composition from the University of Oregon School of Music. I have been a student of Tomas Svoboda for 10 years. Over the years I have collaborated with several Oregon ensembles and solo performers in concert and in the recording studio. (Don Ross Productions, Eugene) Four CD's have been released to date. Three of them were self produced and the fourth is being released through Ravello records a label under the parent company PARMA Records). This CD "The Palest Rose" is being distributed worldwide through NAXOS Distributors. I am a member of the NACUSA chapter Cascadia Composers.
