Oregon Connection: I was born in New Jersey, but I grew up in Oregon. After doing my undergrad in Wisconsin, I came back to Oregon to do a Master's in Jazz Composition at the University of Oregon. Then I left again for New York for three years, but now, after all that, I'm happily settled in Portland, and it feels great to be here.
